Emily Harvest » Welcome

I have been teaching at Cox since 2009, and with FVSD since 2007.  I have been working with children, in one capacity or another, since 1993, when I began as a preschool aide during a two-year class for high schoolers with a passion to become teachers! After that, I taught high school SAT classes!  I earned my BA and Multiple Subject Credential with a secondary credential in English Language Arts from CSULB. I earned my masters and credential in Education Administration from Concordia University. I have taught second, fourth, and sixth grades. I think my time is well spent teaching, and caring for my husband, my daughter and son, and my two miniature dachshunds. I enjoy going on adventures, big and small, with my family and good friends!

First Day Classroom Activity

Dear Families of Fourth Graders,
I am so excited to meet all of you very soon!  Our first day of school is Wednesday, September 6.  If you are available to stay until about 8:45, we will be taking some photos and doing a couple activities I think you may enjoy doing with your child and helping others complete.
Hope to see you soon!
