There was a mystery afoot at Talbert Middle School last week, but luckily, the Forensics Club was on the job.

There is no greater influence on student success than a dedicated teacher, and this week, we had the privilege of celebrating ten of the very best.

The power of music was on full display at the recent Talbert Middle School Band and Orchestra Concert. Directed by Mr. Michael Miller.

Earlier this month, the 3rd-grade classrooms at Cox Elementary felt a little more like the California Gold Rush era than a typical school day. After reading Boom Town by Sonia Levitin, a story about a young girl named Amanda who helps build a town starting with a simple pie business, students got to put those same lessons into practice.

The Fountain Valley School District is shining a little brighter this week thanks to the creative talents of Lucciano Iglesias, a kindergarten student at Oka Elementary.
