The power of music was on full display at the recent Talbert Middle School Band and Orchestra Concert. Directed by Mr. Michael Miller.

Earlier this month, the 3rd-grade classrooms at Cox Elementary felt a little more like the California Gold Rush era than a typical school day. After reading Boom Town by Sonia Levitin, a story about a young girl named Amanda who helps build a town starting with a simple pie business, students got to put those same lessons into practice.

The Fountain Valley School District is shining a little brighter this week thanks to the creative talents of Lucciano Iglesias, a kindergarten student at Oka Elementary.

Join us for the 2026 Monster Concert on Wednesday, April 22 at the Fountain Valley High School Gymnasium—an inspiring evening showcasing the musical talents of more than 300 student musicians from across our community.

Join us Tuesday, April 14, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at the District Office (10055 Slater Ave.) for FVSD’s 23rd Annual District Art Show, Anchored in ART—Celebrating 150 Years of Imagination.
