On Tuesday, the District Central Office hosted the 2026 Teacher of the Year Breakfast, a longstanding tradition that highlights the talent and commitment found across our preschool through 8th-grade classrooms.
The event, held in partnership with the Rotary Club of Fountain Valley, brought together local leaders and educators to shine a spotlight on our site honorees. The Rotary Club’s generous support provided a beautiful breakfast and commemorative plaques for each recipient.
The morning felt especially momentous with the attendance of the Fountain Valley Mayor, as well as field representatives from the offices of our local State Senator and Assemblyman. Each dignitary presented formal certificates of recognition, emphasizing the vital role these teachers play in the strength of our entire community.
As each principal took the podium, they shared personal anecdotes of innovation in the classroom, mentorship on the playground, and the tireless "behind-the-scenes" work these teachers do for their students. While only ten teachers received the official title this year, the event served as a celebration of the high standards of excellence held by all staff throughout our 10 school sites.
