Principal's Message

Cox Families, 

It is an honor to join the Cox team as Principal.  I look forward to partnering with you to provide the best educational experience we can envision for your student(s).  

I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.  I received my bachelor’s degree from Azusa Pacific University, my teaching credential from Cal State Long Beach, my master’s degree from Concordia University in Irvine, and my doctorate from Cal State Fullerton.  I worked most recently as an Assistant Principal at Northwood High School in Irvine, prior to that I was an Assistant Principal in downtown LA and before going into administration I was a math teacher at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. I am a long time local Orange County resident, I was born and raised in Costa Mesa and I never left.  I love this area very much and it brings me great joy to serve our families and students.  

As principal, two of the most important things to me are open communication with families and strong relationships. Please reach out at any time.  If you have questions, concerns, or just want to share a little about yourself and your family - I am here for you.

Together with the Cox staff we will ensure that your students are cared for, have strong academic skills, and continue to grow into their best selves.
