Reporting Absences

Good attendance is key to a child's success at school; however, there are times that a child is too ill to come to school. Children are considered too ill to attend school if they have a fever of at least 100 degrees, vomiting, or diarrhea.  If your student will be absent from school for any reason, please make sure to report their absence as soon as possible.

When reporting an absence be sure to let us know:

  • Your child's name
  • Date of absence
  • Your name and relationship to the child
  • Reason for absence
  • If you want homework (must be reported by 10:00 am for pick up after school)

Absences can be reported in one of the following ways:

  • Send a note to your child's teacher
  • Email [email protected]
  • Call the school office (714) 378-4240 between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm
