Mrs. Card grew up in Huntington Beach and started teaching in 2007.  She received a full athletic scholarship to play soccer at California State University of Fullerton.  While at CSUF, Mrs. Card had the opportunity to study abroad and live in London, England where she had an internship at Queen’s College Preparatory School.  At this school she instructed students in grades K-8.  She completed her B.A. in Child and Adolescent Studies then went on to earn her credential at Cal State Fullerton.  Mrs. Card started her teaching career in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District and taught kindergarten and fifth grade.  During this time she completed her Masters program with an emphasis on reading through National University.  In 2010, she joined the Fountain Valley School District and taught fourth and fifth grade at Courreges.  Mrs. Card is now thrilled to be part of the Cox team teaching fifth grade.
