Our class uses Chromebooks twice a week to do ST Math. ST Math is a great way for students to learn math concepts in a fun way without the use of language. Therefore, students do not need to be able to read or speak English to be successful at ST Math.
Students should do ST Math at home every night if possible. We assign 20 - 30 minutes of ST Math Homework nightly. The first ten minutes should be spent on fluency and the rest should be spent working on the levels. Please limit the amount of help you give your child on ST Math. One of the best ways for your child to learn from this program is to problem solve independently. If you continually help your child pass the games, this program will lose its education impact for your child.
